It can inspire or it can infect the mind with negativity. My mission is to use it for the Glory of God.”
Based in North west London, DJ Kelechi grew up on Hip-Hop & RnB, “I was always a big music fan and an avid collector of music, but after getting saved God started talking to me about the content in the music that I was listening to.” After finding faith in Jesus in 2001 Kelechi began to look for urban christian music that better reflected his newfound way of life.
“I realised that many believers didn’t know cool christian music existed so I started sharing it, that’s how I started DJing and making mix tapes.”
Sharing his incredible personal testimony DJ Kelechi has also been invited to give his trailblazing talks about ‘the power behind the music’, which have seen many young people re-dedicate their lives to Christ and encouraged them to think deeper about the music they choose to listen to.
“Music. It’s a powerful thing. It can be used to build up or tear down. It can inspire or it can infect the mind with negativity. My mission is to use it for the Glory of God.”
